MT4 log files under Windows 8

Recently got a new computer running Windows 8. I can no long access the MT4 log files, which are stored as 64-bit "Compatibility Files" by MT4. Win 8 File Explorer does not seem to have a means of accessing 64-bit compatibility files. Under Win7, there is a pull-down from the MT4 path to the

MT4 under Win8 - Compatibility files

Just started running Build 482 under Windows 8. Cannot access the experts/log files because they are stored in Window "compatibility" mode and I do not see where access to it is provided any more by Windows Explorer. Same problem with Templates. Does anyone know how to access compatibility files
