ETH Trend Follow is a systematic trend-following strategy designed specifically for Ethereum.
The core algorithm uses a 180-period baseline to determine the broader market structure. During periods of moderate volatility, the system identifies potential breakout points and enters positions when predefined trend conditions are confirmed.
Stop-loss levels are dynamically managed based on market conditions, with the objective of controlling downside risk while allowing profitable positions to follow the trend for as long as possible.
The EA combines three complementary entry methods:
- Primary Breakout — identifies the main trend breakout around the long-term baseline.
- Trend Retest Entry — looks for a secondary entry when price retests the trend after the initial breakout.
- H2 Breakout — monitors the 2-hour timeframe for additional breakout opportunities, reducing the chance of missing an established trend.
The strategy focuses on trend capture rather than frequent trading. It does not attempt to predict market tops or bottoms; instead, it waits for confirmed market movement and follows the trend until its exit conditions are reached.
