This signal is generated by Gold Talon EA, a fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor trading gold (XAUUSD) on the H1 timeframe. We trade this strategy with our own capital.
How It Trades Gold Talon captures high-probability reversals on XAUUSD using proprietary momentum-divergence signals with a wick-ratio confirmation filter. Approximately 95% of entries are on the short side, where mean-reversion on gold is strongest. Selective long entries are taken when extreme oversold conditions present high-conviction setups. The EA averages ~17 trades per month.
Risk Management Every trade has a fixed stop-loss — no exceptions. No martingale, no grid, no averaging down. Conservative lot sizing based on account equity. Maximum observed drawdown of 8.57% across 1,564 trades over 6 years of validated backtesting. Walk-forward verified: out-of-sample performance (PF 1.89) exceeded in-sample (PF 1.56).
