Overview
Fund Shield is a risk monitoring and trading cycle management Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4. It helps traders monitor account equity, track daily drawdown, define profit targets and drawdown limits for each trading cycle, and maintain a record of completed cycles.
The EA is designed to work alongside manual trading or other trading systems. It does not generate entry signals or open new trading positions.
Key Features
Trading Cycle Management
Set a custom name, profit target, and maximum drawdown for each cycle. Fund Shield monitors equity against the cycle's starting reference and records whether the target was reached or the drawdown limit was exceeded.
Daily Drawdown Monitoring
Monitor equity changes relative to the equity recorded at the beginning of the trading day. Configure a daily drawdown threshold and receive an alert when the limit is reached.
Profit and Drawdown Tracking
View current balance, equity, cycle profit percentage, cycle drawdown, daily drawdown, and maximum recorded drawdown from the account's equity peak.
Cycle History and Statistics
Record completed cycles with their names, starting and ending equity, profit or loss, result classification, and completion time. Review the number of successful and unsuccessful cycles.
Optional Stop Loss and Take Profit Management
Configure the EA to add a Stop Loss or Take Profit to eligible market orders that do not already have the corresponding level. Distances are specified in broker points.
Notifications and Daily Reports
Receive terminal alerts when important events occur. Optional push notifications and scheduled daily reports are available through the EA's settings.
How It Works
Fund Shield records an equity reference when a cycle begins. Cycle profit and drawdown are calculated relative to that reference.
A cycle is classified as successful when its configured profit target is reached, or unsuccessful when its maximum drawdown threshold is reached. The next cycle can be configured to wait until managed market orders are closed.
Daily drawdown is measured separately from the equity reference recorded at the beginning of the trading day. The overall maximum drawdown statistic is tracked independently from individual cycles.

Important Information
Fund Shield is a monitoring and management tool, not a trading strategy. It does not guarantee trading results or prevent all losses.
Daily drawdown alerts do not automatically prevent other Expert Advisors from opening new positions. Order modification and closure depend on trading permissions, broker conditions, and execution availability.
Test the settings in the Strategy Tester or on a demo account before using the EA in a live trading environment. Ensure that the configured thresholds and order management options match your trading requirements.
