EuroProTrader is based on the probability theory and the EURUSD pair's statistical pattern I have detected. The Expert Advisor features stop loss and take profit invisible for other market participants. Real protective stop loss and take profit are provided as well. They are located deeper so that to mislead other traders and win the battle. Also, they help to preserve the deposit in case of VPS unforeseen disconnection. Only one position with a fixed lot is opened at any time.

ATTENTION! The EA works on M5 timeframe. Each broker requires a separate configuration of parameters. The trading robot is based on detected statistical regularities. Testing and launching of the EA should be performed only on SUNDAY. Otherwise, errors in trading may occur. If you have accidentally disabled the terminal in the middle of a week or disallowed autotrading in the terminal, re-launch the EA on SUNDAY, unless you have an open trade.

Before using the EA, it should be configured. Configuration is performed in the Strategy Tester:

  1. Download M5 timeframe quotes relevant to your broker for the last six years. The Expert Advisor uses Open prices. Therefore, tick history is not needed.

  2. Select the first four-year interval to define statistically important data. For example, at the moment, such an interval is from January 4, 2009 to December 30, 2012.

  3. Select EuroProTrader as a tested Expert Advisor in the tester, currency pair – EURUSD, timeframe – M5, Model – Open prices only. Spread – not less than 3. Spread value should correspond to "spread for testing" value in the EA parameters.

  4. Check Optimization option. Check tp, sls, sp, sp2, sp3, sp4, sp5 and sp6 in the EA parameters.

  5. start, step and stop parameters. The values for brokers using five-digit quotes are displayed below (decrease all the values by one digit for four-digit brokers). step = 10 for all. start value for tp, sp, sp3 and sp5 is 10, while for sls, sp2, sp4 and sp6 it is 50. stop value for tp, sp, sp3 and sp5 is 500, while for sls, sp2, sp4 and sp6 it is 1 300.

  6. Start optimization. Optimization may take up to 5-7 hours on a mid-end PC. After the optimization, select the best result and right-click on it to set the parameters in the EA. After that, perform a backtest with these parameters.

  7. After the backtest, we should make sure that the EA works in the future with the same parameters. To do this, take the second interval (from January 6, 2013 till present time) and perform the so-called forward test. If the trading robot makes profit during the forward test, then the parameters are correct, and it is quite likely that the EA remains profitable. If the forward test is not passed on the first try, go through the optimization results till the test is finally passed.

I recommend that you perform this procedure at least once a year.

If you have any issues, please tell me the name of your broker, and I will prepare the settings for you. Thank you!
