SmartBot is a self-optimizing trading robot having a small number of input parameters. The robot is designed for trading the USD futures contract (Si) on FORTS.

SmartBot follows the reverse system and features no stop loss and take profit. The robot is designed specifically for a two-hour (H2) period. The robot performs all calculations when a new candle forms.

Instructions and recommendations

SmartBot applies Si Splice (Si futures contract splice). Therefore, make sure that Si Splice is displayed in the Market Watch window for correct operation. Open the symbol management window by the Symbols command of the Market Watch window context menu. All symbols available in the platform are displayed here. A double click on a symbol name is used for hiding or showing it in the Market Watch window. Make sure Si Splice is added.

SmartBot should be running on a valid Si contract with H2 period. The robot performs all calculations when a new candle forms. Therefore, the robot should be enabled before each new candle forms. The virtual MetaTrader server is the best option as you can be sure you haven not missed a single candle. Besides, you do not need to keep your PC on permanently.

SmartBot does not change the contract automatically. This is why, close a trade on an expiring contract (1-2 days or any other convenient time before the futures contract expires) and launch the robot on a new one.

  • Volume – fixed volume to be used by the robot if dynamic volume is disabled. Recommended minimum volume is two contracts since the robot fixes a part of profit closing a half of a trade.
  • Dynamic Volume – dynamic volume. If enabled, the system calculates the optimal trading volume on its own considering the maximum drawdown. While an account becomes bigger, the volume is increased. The system reduces the volume only in case of a significant drawdown.
