Trading Hours Board
- Indicators
- Version: 1.0
- Activations: 10
Trading Hours Board sorts your closed trades by weekday and hour and shows the result as a heat map. You see at once which hours bring profit and which hours cost money.
What you see
- A heat map weekday x hour. Choose what it shows: net result, win rate, number of trades or average trade.
- Bars by hour and by weekday.
- Six tiles: best hour, worst hour, best weekday, worst weekday, trades analysed, time basis.
- Click a cell for details: trades, win rate, net result, profit factor, average trade.
- One-click filter by EA (the six most active EAs are shown as buttons).
- Period tabs: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, all.
- Cells with only a few trades are shown grey, so single trades do not mislead you.
How trades are counted
- Every closing deal counts as one trade, the same way as the MetaTrader 5 trade report.
- You choose whether the entry time or the exit time of the trade decides the hour.
- Optional time shift, for example to see your local time instead of server time.
- Swap and commission are included. Works on hedging and netting accounts.
Settings
- EA names by magic number, or the order comment as name.
- Filters for magic numbers and symbols, manual trades on or off.
- Minimum trades per cell for colour.
- Language English or German, dark or light theme, position and size on the chart.
Notes
- Read-only: the indicator never opens, changes or closes orders.
- No DLL, no internet connection, no files are written.
- The Strategy Tester has no account history. In the tester and in the demo version the panel shows clearly labelled sample data.
- Past results are not a forecast. Hours with few trades can be chance.
