Gold Scalping Falcon

Gold Scalping Falcon

Gold Scalping Falcon is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for traders who want a defined gold trading process: one instrument, a fixed morning session and visible execution rules. It combines EMA 20/50 candle-body conditions with approved candle shapes on the broker's XAU/USD M1 chart.

How it works

The default trading session is 06:00 to 08:30 India Standard Time. The EA evaluates completed candles, excludes weekends and configured holidays, and checks high-impact USD calendar events before a qualified entry. The default news exclusion is 30 minutes before and 15 minutes after an event. If calendar information is unavailable, new entries are blocked.

Each position has an initial stop beyond the signal candle extreme, with a default 0.20 gold price buffer. The target is 100 strategy pips; with the default pip unit of 0.10 this is a 10.00 price move. At half the target distance, the EA requests a partial close and then requests a stop at the opening price. It retries when a stop move is temporarily unavailable and confirms broker acceptance.

Execution and sizing

Default fixed volume is 0.02 lots, with a 0.01-lot partial close. The default estimated stop-risk filter is USD 10 per new position. Entries whose calculated stop risk exceeds that value are skipped. The EA checks contract metadata, volume steps, minimum stops, directional volume limits, margin and the broker's order check before sending an entry. It does not increase lot size after losses.

Multiple independent positions can be open. The per-entry filter does not limit total account exposure, daily loss or drawdown. Commission, swaps, gaps, slippage and execution differences can increase realized losses. A stop moved to the entry price does not guarantee a cost-free outcome.

Requirements and testing

Use desktop MetaTrader 5 and a hedging account. Attach the EA to an XAU/USD chart; it trades the symbol of the chart it is attached to, or the symbol named in InpGoldSymbol. The strategy is designed, calibrated and tested only for gold. On gold the tested price distances are used unchanged; on any other symbol the same distances are scaled by price, which is untested and not recommended. Broker suffixes such as XAUUSDm are supported. This is not an endorsement of any broker.

The tester contains an embedded historical USD calendar snapshot covering 1 January 2020 through 28 October 2026 (end exclusive). No separate calendar file is required. Set the historical server UTC offset correctly; split tests when the broker changes offset for daylight saving. Outside the snapshot coverage, the enabled news filter blocks new entries. Live operation uses the terminal economic calendar. The configured holiday list must be reviewed for the intended year.

Test the Market evaluation version in Strategy Tester with the intended broker, period, leverage and realistic costs before purchasing. Local test of version 2.40: XAUUSDm, Exness demo history, 1 January to 27 October 2026 (end exclusive), 100% real ticks, 30 ms simulated delay, USD 10,000 deposit and 1:100 leverage. The test recorded 287 independently opened positions, USD 85.53 net profit, profit factor 1.08 and maximum equity drawdown 1.69%. Native totals include partial exits and therefore differ from the independent-position count. This single-broker test did not meet the development target of profit factor 1.20 and 300 independent out-of-sample positions. It is not forward performance. Commission and swap follow the tester deal records; additional broker charges can change results. Trading involves risk and past or simulated results do not guarantee future performance.

For transparency, version 2.40 was also run on other charts, 1 September to 27 October 2026 (end exclusive): EURUSDm H1 produced 81 trades, USD 17.41 net loss, profit factor 0.43; GBPUSDm M30 produced 91 trades, USD 23.23 net loss, profit factor 0.44. These results show why the EA should be used on gold only.

A separate recent-window test of version 2.40, 19 to 27 October 2026 (end exclusive), produced 5 independent gold positions and a USD 32.46 net loss. This losing period is included in the full-period result above.

Purchase and support

Use product comments or MQL5 messages for installation questions and issue reports. Required compatibility updates and corrections are provided according to Market rules. The product is not dependent on a paid setup session.

  • InpNewsBeforeMin / InpNewsAfterMin: 30 / 15 minutes.
  • InpServerGmtOffset: 0 by default; set historical broker UTC offset in hours for tester dates. Live operation derives it from terminal time.

  • InpSlippagePoints: 30 broker points by default.
  • InpResearchTrendM5 / InpResearchPartial: M5 trend filter disabled / partial close enabled. Altering either changes the tested setup.
  • InpAlerts: Optional terminal alerts, disabled by default.

Use the recommended gold M1 chart. Keep MT5 running and algorithmic trading enabled while relying on partial-close management. Live economic-calendar failure blocks new entries. Test the exact broker contract and settings on demo before live use.
