Ingot Dawn is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for XAUUSD. It trades breakouts with pending stop orders and manages the exit itself. You choose which of the three built-in strategies to run, and how each one is sized. The strategy settings are compiled in.

Symbol and chart
Attach the EA to XAUUSD. Any chart timeframe is fine: the model does not follow the chart period. Account type: hedging. ECN or RAW is a better match for gold. Leverage 1:100 or higher. A VPS is recommended. The deposit must cover the broker’s minimum gold lot at the risk you select.
How it trades
- Breakout style. Not a scalper and not a news robot.
- Entries are pending Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders.
- The EA trails and closes. No grid, no martingale, no averaging down.
- Three strategies. The compiled default runs Strategy 1, Strategy 2 and Strategy 3 together. Strategy 1 uses Balanced, Strategy 2 uses Extreme, Strategy 3 uses Aggressive.
- One strategy at a time is off by default, so the three strategies can be in the market together. Tick it if a new fill should wait while another selected strategy already has a position.
- Quiet stretches happen. The EA waits for a setup. That is not a freeze.
Money management
Each strategy has its own mode:
- Percent of balance
- Named risk profile
- Fixed lot
Named profiles, from calmer to stronger:
- Conservative
- Cautious
- Balanced (compiled default for Strategy 1)
- Growth
- Aggressive (compiled default for Strategy 3)
- Extreme (compiled default for Strategy 2)
- Extreme+
Chart panel
A compact panel on the live chart shows the strategies that are on, the sizing mode, and status. The non-visual Strategy Tester skips drawing.
Optional blocks (both off by default)
- News filter — pause around calendar events. Set the minutes before and after, and the minimum importance. Pending orders can be cancelled for the window. An open trade can be held through it. FOMC can always be treated as high impact. Leave this off unless you want it.
- Prop firm — daily and maximum drawdown guard. Use the official percentages from your firm. Daily loss can start from equity, from balance, from whichever is higher at the reset, or follow a new equity high during the day. The EA can close a little before the firm’s number. When this block is on, each trade can wait a set number of seconds before the stop and target are sent to the broker; set that to 0 to send them at once. A daily or maximum limit close does not wait. An optional inactivity trade covers a long stretch with no fills. Leave the whole block off on a normal live account.
Is / is not
- Is: an XAUUSD robot with three compiled strategies and a short list of inputs.
- Is not: a high-frequency scalper, a recovery system, or a promise of profit.
How to start
By default, Strategy 1, Strategy 2 and Strategy 3 are on together. Strategy 1 uses Balanced, Strategy 2 uses Extreme and Strategy 3 uses Aggressive. Set each profile to the risk that fits you, and turn off any strategy you do not want to trade.
They can hold a position at the same time. News and the prop firm block are off. To match a live signal, enable only that strategy and select the same profile name. Do not start on Extreme+.
No set file is required.
