PAKSA WAEK RANG MT5
Expert Advisor for XAUUSD on the H1 timeframe
This EA evaluates signals only on closed bars (Non-Repainting) and supports simultaneous Buy and Sell positions.
Optimization
The main parameters used for optimization are as follows
PAKSA Period = 14
This is the number of candles used for the calculation, including the determination of recent highest and lowest points.
This parameter directly affects signal frequency and the system’s responsiveness to market conditions.
Chandelier Exit
This is a trend-following exit system (Trailing Exit) that uses ATR to calculate the Stop Loss distance.
Optimizing this component helps ensure that profit locking and loss cutting are better adapted to the volatility of gold.
Optimization Method
We use the latest XAUUSD H1 price data and divide the testing into three different periods:
6 Months – To evaluate short-term market behavior and the latest market conditions.
1 Year – To cover both trending and sideways market conditions.
1 Year 6 Months – To test the system’s ability to handle a wider variety of market conditions.
Users can select the parameter set that best matches their trading style:
For greater flexibility and a focus on current market conditions → Recommended: 6-Month Set
For a balanced approach → Recommended: 1-Year Set
For greater long-term stability → Recommended: 1-Year 6-Month Set
Criteria Used for Each Period
For each testing period, we do not simply select the parameter set with the highest profit. Instead, we consider several key factors
Trading Frequency – Not too low to miss opportunities, and not too high to generate excessive false signals.
Risk Level – Keeping Drawdown within an acceptable range.
Consistency of Returns – Performance should remain stable rather than being strong only during a short period.
This approach helps reduce the risk of Overfitting, which occurs when parameters are optimized too closely to historical data, causing performance to deteriorate when the system is used in live trading.
Important Considerations
Even when a parameter set has been carefully optimized, financial markets are constantly changing. Future market conditions may differ significantly from the periods used for testing.
Therefore, users should:
Regularly monitor the EA’s performance.
Compare live trading results with Backtest results.
Adjust the parameters when significant changes in market conditions are observed.
Good optimization does not make an EA “win all the time.” Instead, it provides a reasonable starting point and increases the potential for the EA to perform effectively and consistently over the long term.
Three money management modes available: Fixed Lot, Risk Percentage of equity, and Equity Step (lot increases with account equity)

Usage Recommendations

Enable both Buy and Sell sides
Set Max Spread according to your broker (recommended range: 30–50 points)

Important Note
Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Users should study the EA carefully, test it thoroughly, and always manage risk with discipline.
