I was extremely fortunate to spot this trading robot while it was briefly featured in the “New Products” section. 🚀
This trading robot is a new release in the OX series. The same series’ product Ox7F is also highly regarded and performs excellently.
Compared with Ox7F, OxF1 incorporates more rigorous filtering and refinement of trading opportunities. This refinement results in a noticeable increase in win rate, with the strategy focusing on fewer but higher-quality setups — which is particularly beneficial for risk-averse traders.
Key Observations from Extensive Personal Testing
(Backtest reports visible to everyone are omitted here.)
• During low-volatility / ranging periods, the strategy generates more frequent trading signals 📈
• In high-volatility periods and strong trending markets, trade frequency decreases significantly
→ This behavior is opposite to many trend-following or breakout systems.
For traders who are particularly sensitive to drawdowns, avoid selecting high-risk parameter settings.
Recommended minimum account size: ≥ $200 (conservative suggestion based on observed equity curves).
Risk Management & Exit Logic
The strategy employs fixed stop-loss (SL) combined with four selectable take-profit levels (TP tiers).
• Choosing smaller TP targets → higher win rate, smaller maximum drawdown, but lower total accumulated profit points (R-multiples)
• Choosing larger TP targets → greater profit potential per trade, but increased exposure to adverse excursions and deeper drawdowns
Statistical decision perspective: smaller TP usually yields superior Sharpe ratio and Calmar ratio in most ranging-to-moderate trend environments (based on my own Monte Carlo resampled equity curve analysis).
Broker & Execution Environment Requirements ⚙️
The OX series appears to have stringent environmental demands:
• Low-spread brokers produce clearly superior results (because both SL and TP levels are relatively tight)
• Slippage and execution latency should be minimized as much as possible
• Do NOT enable spread filters — doing so frequently causes missed high-probability setups
There are many additional nuances and discoveries regarding the OX series that I won’t elaborate on here.
Feel free to explore and uncover the unique characteristics of the OX family yourself. 🔍
Happy (and cautious) testing! 📊
I will message you privately and send you everything you need.
