When running backtests or live trading with Cryptocurrencies or Gold, you must significantly increase the EA's property settings (parameters). These assets have different decimal precision and "point" values compared to standard Forex pairs, and failing to adjust them may prevent the EA from executing trades or managing positions correctly.
Required Parameter Adjustments
To account for high volatility and specific digit structures, please scale your point-based inputs as follows:
1. Trade Execution Settings
Max Spread Pts ( InpMaxSpreadPts ): Increase from 30 to 5000 or higher. Crypto/Gold spreads are often much wider in "points."
Slippage Pts ( InpSlippage ): Increase from 10 to approximately 500.
2. Entry & Exit Settings
Manual TP/SL Pts ( InpManualTPPts / InpManualSLPts ): If you are using fixed targets, increase these from 300 to 10,000 or more.
S&R Settings: You may also need to increase Zone Tolerance Pts and Min Distance Pts to match the asset's price scale.
3. Protection (TS/BE) Settings
Trailing Stop / Break Even: Values for Trailing Start, Trailing Step, and Break Even Trigger should be set 10 to 100 times higher than typical Forex values.

Important Note
Always verify the "Point" value of your specific broker for these instruments. You can check this by dragging the crosshair on your chart to measure the distance in points between price levels. Ensure your settings reflect the actual market conditions of the asset you are trading.
