"In this Expert Advisor, the Stop Loss and Take Profit are calculated dynamically based on the current market volatility (using the ATR indicator).
You can change how far the stops are placed by adjusting the multipliers in the input parameters:

How to reduce the SL if you still find it too wide:
You can decrease the Multipliers in the input parameters to tighten the Stop Loss distance:
  • Range_SL_Mult  (for M15 mode, currently 3.5)
  • Trend_SL_Mult  (for H1 mode, currently 11.6)
For example, reducing  Range_SL_Mult  from 3.5 to 2.0 will make the Stop Loss significantly tighter.

"Thank you for testing on real ticks! You are absolutely right, Gold (XAUUSD) requires very precise tuning for 'Every Tick' mode. We are already preparing an update with improved default settings to fix this.
In the meantime, please try these optimized parameters for Range Mode (M15):
  • RSI Levels: 79 / 21
  • Range_SL_Mult: 3.5
  • Range_MinInterval: 360
These settings significantly reduce the drawdown on real ticks. You can also try to run your own optimization to find the best balance for Darwinex's specific spreads. Stay tuned for the update!"

Crucial point: The account must be an ECN or Raw Spread account. The robot does not perform well on standard accounts with high spreads.

No, non è necessario cambiare la logica del robot.
Per un conto Ultra Low Micro assicurati solo che:
RiskPercent sia impostato su un valore basso (es. 0.5–1.0%)
Il broker consenta min lot = 0.01
La leva sia almeno 1:100
Lo spread non sia eccessivo
Il robot calcola automaticamente il lotto in base al rischio e funziona correttamente anche con micro-lotti (1000 unità).

Yes, the graph shown on the overview page was generated using the default settings on the M15 timeframe.
The test was performed using minute-based data (not real ticks), so the graph should be considered illustrative rather than a fully tick-accurate backtest.
At the moment, the robot is undergoing a major redesign. The upcoming update will significantly change its internal logic and structure, so current results should not be treated as final.
Please allow a bit of time — a substantially improved version will be released in the near future.

It is performing well... but I see a SL lurking at -171 using 0.01. 

This is a but scary and could wipe out a LOT of the TPs...

The stop loss you’re seeing (for example around –171 on a 0.01 lot) is intentional and risk-based, not arbitrary.

This strategy uses an ATR-based stop, which automatically adapts to market volatility. On gold, especially during strong trending phases, ATR can expand significantly, and the stop loss reflects that behavior.

A few important clarifications:
The position size is fixed and very small (0.01), so even a full stop loss represents a controlled and predefined percentage of equity, not an uncontrolled loss.
The system is designed so that one stop loss does not wipe out multiple take profits — the take-profit distance is larger than the stop-loss distance (risk-to-reward > 1), and historically several winning trades compensate for a single loss.
Tight stops on gold are often hit by market noise; wider stops are used deliberately to avoid premature exits during strong trends.

That said, risk is configurable.
If a more conservative profile is preferred, the stop-loss multiplier or risk percentage can be reduced without changing the core logic of the strategy.

It’s also worth noting that a major strategy update is planned in the near future, in which the overall trading logic and risk management will be significantly refined. This is part of the planned evolution of the system, not a reaction to short-term performance.

In short: the stop loss may look large in points, but the monetary risk is controlled, and the strategy is built around long-term expectancy rather than avoiding every losing trade.

It would be nice if we could enter the lot size manually. 

I.e. instead of a % then manually put in 0.01 etc. 

Also I note Risk % is for Trand... not range??
