Hi 👋
Thanks for sharing Takibi Gold AI 🙏
I can see the effort and clean structure behind it.

Just a quick question 😊
Is this project still actively developed and improved, or is it already in a final state?

Wish you success with your work 🚀
Best regards 👋

Thank you very much for your kind comment!

At the moment, there are no plans to further modify or improve this product.
I plan to run forward testing for about one month, and if the results are satisfactory, I am considering releasing it as a paid product.

When it becomes a paid version, I am planning to unlock additional parameters that are currently hidden, so users will be able to adjust more detailed settings and switch between different strategies.

Thank you again for your interest, and I really appreciate your support!

Thankk you very much for this. :-)

I can't see the 20 strategies?? It seems like there is only 1?

- The great graph you show - is this based on default settings?

Hello, is timezone 2 correct for Germany, or do I need to change it?

Please set the parameter according to your broker’s GMT offset and whether they use daylight saving time (summer time).
The correct setting depends on your broker’s server time, not on your local country time.

SO far very good - but I have a question of scalability.

LS is based manually (which is good) e.g. at 0.01.

BUT SL and TP are in % (default 3%).

So.... if I want to move to a cent account and operate at 0.1 how do I change the SL and TP??

It would be MUCH better if SL and TP are in pips!

patrickdrew

The problem with SL & TP being in % of balance is that no matter what you set the LS to... they will still close at the same monetary value!?

e.g. 1000 balance and using 0.01 then will close at e.g. $30. BUT if move LS to 0.1 it will still close at $30!?!?

patrickdrew

Also... some people will try this with balance 100. And others 10.000.

If both start at 0.01 then BIG difference when SL or TP trigger.

Better in pips. :-)

Just to clarify:
SL and TP are NOT based on account balance %.
They are based on price change % from entry.

So if TP = 3%, it means the trade closes when price moves +3% from entry.
If you increase lot size from 0.01 to 0.1, the profit/loss in money will scale accordingly.

I use % of price because pip/point values differ a lot between symbols and volatility regimes, so % is more consistent across markets.

Hi, thanks for this EA!
I tried it in demo on the very day of the big crash, January 29th, and later tested it again in backtesting. Even though it handles sell trades decently, in that instance it was put under a lot of pressure and had significant losses. Is this a limitation of the training? Because these situations are becoming increasingly common after October 21st and December 29th and will become even more pronounced as the price of gold rises. In the backtest, on that very day, it lost most of the profits patiently accumulated earlier. It didn't fail, but perhaps it didn't handle the situation optimally either. Anyway, I think it's a good EA, different from the others.

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and for testing the EA so carefully.

I was also surprised that such an extreme market move occurred immediately after the release. During training, I tried to normalize volatility to some extent so that the model could be used across different market periods. However, it seems that the actual market conditions went far beyond what was anticipated in the training data.

Will it be possible to train it for these eventualities now that there is historical data, or unfortunately not? Because if it happens again in the future, it will compromise a large part of the work done before. And I'm pretty sure it will happen again.

Of course, retraining the model itself is relatively straightforward. However, as you pointed out, the more important challenge is determining how to design the training data so that the EA can better handle extreme market conditions like the one we recently experienced. This is an area I will continue to research and improve moving forward.

In Takibi, the TP/SL was set at 3%, but I did not anticipate that such large price movements could occur within such a short period of time. Therefore, in version 1.4, I implemented a fix to prevent immediate re-entry right after a TP or SL is triggered. This adjustment should help reduce drawdown to some extent.

Please update the EA to the latest version.

If I put Takibi on the chart, MT5 becomes extremely slow and the CPU stays at a constant 20% until I close Takibi and the chart it was running on. Some EAs have had issues after the MT5 update with certain graphic elements and fonts; some were even causing MT5 to freeze. Can you please check this? Thanks.

We’ve been able to reproduce the same issue on our end. Please check the forums and roll back your MT5 build to the previous version.

It makes no sense to have to roll back and lose important updates just to get a single EA working. It makes more sense for the EA to be adapted to this update and future versions. It's a logical matter of compatibility.
