Hi Patrick!
At the moment the EA is tested and tuned only for XAUUSD. I prefer to focus on one asset first and make sure the behaviour is solid before expanding it to other markets. The recommended timeframe is already included in the .set file, so users can load it directly without worrying about configuration.
Regarding the minimum balance, it really depends on how much risk each trader wants to take. With a low-risk approach (around 1% per trade), starting from about 1,000 USD gives a smoother equity curve. With slightly higher risk (1–2%), the EA also works well from 500–1,000 USD. It can be used on smaller accounts too, but that falls into a more aggressive profile, especially considering Gold’s volatility.
For now, the backtests are only for XAUUSD using the timeframe provided in the .set file, covering several years of data. I’ll upload the full reports once the forward-testing phase is completed so users can review detailed performance.
Risk management is straightforward: the EA sizes positions based on the selected risk percentage, applies SL and TP based on the chosen RR, takes a partial at +1R and moves the stop to breakeven with a small buffer. Each trader can adjust this depending on their style, but moderate risk tends to provide balanced results.
The EA comes with a ready-to-use .set file specifically for XAUUSD. Just load it and adjust the risk to your preference. Once the testing phase is fully completed, I’ll add presets and guidelines for other pairs and instruments as well.
