A big thank you to everyone who downloaded and tried the free Supertrend G5.
Supertrend G5 Prime is developed specifically for traders who need advanced risk management and greater trading flexibility (particularly suitable for prop firm accounts). The Prime version adds the following powerful, customizable options:

Flexible Trailing Stop – Automatically activates and moves the stop loss as profits grow, with configurable parameters:

  • UseTrailingStop (on/off)

  • TrailingStart (start trailing when profit reaches X points)

  • TrailingStep (trailing step size in points)

FundingPips Loss Limits – Professional loss-limit mechanisms designed to meet prop-firm style requirements:

  • Daily loss limit (%) ( EnableDailyLossLimit , DailyLossLimitPercent )

  • Maximum loss limit based on initial balance ( EnableMaxLossLimit , MaxLossLimitPercent )

TP/SL by % or by Money – Flexible take-profit / stop-loss settings based on:

  • Account profit/loss percentage ( UsePercentageTP_SL , TP_Percent , SL_Percent )

  • Fixed USD targets ( UseMoneyTP_SL , MaxProfitUSD , MaxLossUSD )

If you’re looking for tighter capital control and more stable performance in volatile markets, G5 Prime is a suitable option to test after using the free version.

Hello — that’s not normal. Under normal market conditions, the EA should usually open at least one trade per week. There are several common reasons why the Prime version might not be taking trades. Please check and send me screenshots of the following so I can diagnose:

  • The Experts and Journal tabs (any error messages).

  • The chart symbol and the Market Watch window (to confirm the exact symbol name or suffix).

  • The broker name, server name, account type (FTMO challenge or Deriv demo), and the leverage.

  • A screenshot of your EA settings/configuration.

I will check common issues such as symbol mismatch, invalid minimum lot/step size, filters blocking trades (spread / ADX / EMA), license restrictions, or broker/FTMO rules. Once you send the screenshots, I’ll check it immediately.

I’ve checked your current settings, and they look generally fine for the EA to operate. However, please reset all settings back to the original defaults to make sure nothing is blocking the EA.

You can also test it by running the Strategy Tester for the past one month to see if the EA opens trades normally. In the Tester, please also check the Journal tab for any errors — this is the best way to confirm whether the EA is functioning correctly.

Please run the tester and let me know whether the EA opens trades. Once you send me the results, I will continue to assist you

Great — that means the EA is working normally and there are no errors. The reason you’re not seeing trades is simply because the current market conditions do not meet the EA’s entry requirements.

Are you trading on the M5 timeframe?
With your current settings, the EA only takes trades in the direction of the EMA 50 and EMA 200 trend on the current timeframe, and also in the direction of the EMA 200 trend on the D1 timeframe (Gold is still in an uptrend on D1).

However, on M5, the EMA 50 and EMA 200 are currently in a downtrend, so the EA will not open any trades. It only enters trades when the EMA 50/200 trend is aligned upwards.

So the EA is waiting for the trend to match the conditions — please be patient until the trend setup changes.

Alternatively, you can trade on the M1 timeframe if you want more frequent signals, just to confirm that the EA is entering trades normally.

The EMA/Trend settings are different in the Prime version.

The Prime EA has the additional EMA filter enabled (true) — it checks the EMA 50/200 trend on the current timeframe (M5).

In contrast, the free version may only check the EMA trend on D1, which makes it easier to take trades.

So even though the input values are the same, the logic in the code is different, and the Prime EA may temporarily wait for the trend conditions to align before opening a trade
