Hi there. I just rented this EA, but there´s no information or Manual guide on how to use it and hot it actually relates to the Dark Point indicator. Can you please provide some more details before I review it?

Too bad. The "Dark Point" indicator gives wonderful signals. The EA sometimes does exactly the opposite of what the indicator does. The EA is ruining my account.

Hi Siroliver, Thank you for your feedback on your experience with Dark Point EA.

The EA is designed to open trades based on buffer value of indicator signal, so it's unlikely to have a trade triggered in the opposite direction. Example, a Buy indicator signal will only trigger a Buy trade by the EA and not a Sell trade, vice versa. The EA is direct reflection of the performance of it corresponding Indicator.

The EA automatically opens a trade based on the latest signal and closes trade for the previous signal. Example a Buy indicator signal will automatically trigger a Buy trade and simultaneously close a running Sell trade and vice versa irrespective of the profit or loss status of the previous trade. This feature acts as an automatic Stop Loss or Take Profit when a new trade signal appears.

Moreover, the Input values for EA is set to zero (0) as default to ensure the EA automatically uses the Indicator Input values. Back testing the EA would have confirmed these.

The only probable way an opposite trade may be triggered is when the Indicator Input values are different from the EA indicator input values. That is if Period, Volatility Factor and Sensitivity multiplier input values for the indicator is different from that of the EA but in the case of the EA, it automatically uses the indicator input values.

I would suggest you try the following:

1. Check you input values and make some changes to them as the Dark Point Indicator lags.

2. Also ensure proper risk management (you use the EA risk management feature) for your trades.

Backtest your strategy before going live.
