GoldExcel system uses orders on a twice per day basis using only the Gold Pair. The gold pair is perfect for this type of trading due to its high daily range, volatility and movement correlation with stock market opens. Gold has superior global liquidity so fills and execution are typically excellent.

GoldExcel is a classic example of a system that uses price action and time based trading to extract an excellent edge proven historically over long range testing. Furthermore, our live forward trading results are a direct match to historical backtesting ensuring clients have faith in the system moving forward. GoldExcel is highly simple yet effective by using the market opens as a catalyst to detect an early move in the Gold pair at the start of the US trading session. Using a hard stop loss of $5 movement in Gold, both trades are protected each day. GoldExcel will continue to run for long term due to the natural market logic of time based price action trading.

Gold Excel has 2 sets of orders per day, which are normally filled, but only 1 trade open at one time, uses no additional layering techniques or adding multiple trades on top of losses. In this way, its very easy for user to predetermine the downside risk of each trade before it closes.

GoldExcel uses a recovery function of 3.0 that will increase the lot next day if the prior day was loss. Client has choice to use recovery or not, as the system is very stable by using non recovery also (backtest in comments section) it is personal choice. But with a historical win rate of 85%+, the odds favour to use recovery to increase performance. Client can backtest on same lot by removing recovery function by making<lot increase after loss> input = 1.0

GoldExcel is advantageous to both prop users and standard traders. The GoldExcel can pass challenges promptly and also continue to trade on the funded account. GoldExcel is not an HFT bot, nor will it break the excess volume of trades rules, so will work in any prop firm (assuming a regular XAU spread offering). Effectively, its a full circle solution for all traders. For smaller traders, it can work in account from $50 upwards. As the system does not trade until US Markets open, all major news has passed, therefore avoiding any news releases.

I have been using Gold Excel since 3/11 and after testing it for a week, I started to put it on a live account. The demo week was just fantastic. I ended up with a 6.64% gain using the standard settings. The following week 3/18 I put it on a live account and - thanks to Murphy's law, both trades were a loss putting the account about (-10.4%) back. So why am I still giving 5 stars, well - I like the approach very much. So far I am still convinced, that I just started at the wrong day - too bad, but that just happens. Looking at all the trades (demo & live) the month is positive and I am pretty sure that this will be the same looking at a larger timeframe. The developer Gregory is very helpful and his answers are sometimes quite short but that's not bad. Worst case, ask again. The strategy seems to be quite simple but very effective. I am not sure if the risk-reward can be improved by tweaking the settings, but when I find out, I will add another review. On good days, you probably will ask yourself why the bot is only taking 2 trades, but I guess - and Gregory knows best - that the bot takes advantage of the stronger moves in the morning. Overall, that's not a concern for me. I like the bot and I will provide some more feedback in a few weeks. I looked at lot of different Gold bots and I am sure that I made the right choice with the Gold Excel!

(4/18/24) Update: This is by far not enough time to give for a solid review, however, I think an update would be needed. I am using the EA now for 4 weeks on a Euro2K account. So far 6 red days and 12 green days. There were also days with no trade. I still think that the strategy itself is ok, however, I also am convinced that it has serious flaws in volatile times. I am also not sure how the recovery works - as far as I can say, each losing day requires at least the rest of the week to be positive. In case that there is another red day - it's not going to work. After 4 weeks my account is down ~8.5%. I will keep this account running but I think that there would need to be an update to either avoid trading during these volatile days or some other mechanism. For now I will change the rating until the next review in 4 weeks.

Thanks for your review. Let me explain a little in more detail. GoldEXCEL has a win rate of 85%, seen in live trading since november and in backtest, this number hold firm. Trading is just statistics and rules. So, we know the average win is lower than the average loss, this by itself does not make a strategy "bad" or need doctored. The average in can be seen at $370USD and loss $1134 USD from the signal statistics. In 100 trades you will have 85 * 370 = 34K and 15 * 1134 = 17k So over the course of 100 trades (around 2.5 months) the account should yield (34-17k) = 17K profit. Now in poisson theory, the distribution or sequence of win/loss is not even over the 100 trades. Eg. There is large win streaks like 19 in row in Jan and harder loss streaks like last week. This because market does not pay out in way of even distribution, even in backtest, there are stronger months than others due to market conditions at that period of time. Nonetheless, with a system with strong market edge you don't change a winning formula, as this market wants to change the system to ensure everyone keeps flipping systems and putting more money into the market makers pockets. By changing the system to cater for a larger win it will invariably lower the win rate and diminish edge. Our system uses a fixed stop loss on every trade, whilst it painful to take a loss it keeps client funds liquid at all times from day to day.

This is one of the best EAs you can discover here. I've had positive outcomes since the latest update, and I'm nearing the completion of the evaluation stage of my Nova prop firm account, having already achieved a 2.97% increase and approaching the 10% target.

UPDATE: I am down by -0.73% since the start of March 2024. I'm uncertain if this EA is effective, as it has yielded few gains and recovery from losses doesn't seem to outweigh any gains as it gets taken back after another loss. I propose that the EA should be revised.
