I have a simple Line Trading EA, with four lines that I place in the platform at the levels that I desire.
The four lines are:
1) buyline
2) sellline
3)R1 (Resistance)
4)S1 (Support)
I have the code, but am having troubles getting it to work. It is very close though, In fact, last Thursday night I got it to work! I was using a Demo Account with One Pip Ticks and waiting for the live ticks to come through and the market was slow. After I was satisfied that it was working appropriately but I was still watching and moving the lines and watching to be sure, I fell asleep. Ultimately, after waking up, I accidentally deleted it. Being that I was so tired that night, I could not remember what I had changed to get it to work.
Therefore, I want someone who can make it work and document the changes that they made and even the logic behind it. Because I want to learn MQL4 badly! I am a total newbie, and therefore have documented simple stuff such as, != -1 // function returns the number of the subwindow (0 means the main window of the chart), in which the object is found. If the object is not found, the function returns a negative number.
I want to get this EA to work to enable me to semi actively trade while I delve more into the coding end of things to facilitate the building of completely automated systems. This EA is just to protect any trading that I do while I get more into the coding side. I foresee my requiring a programmer often as I delve into more complicated programs.
