Trader and Trainer with more than 12 years of experience
I am an economist, statistical programmer, and data analyst with a strong interest in quantitative analysis, financial markets, and algorithmic trading. Over the years, I have worked extensively with large datasets, statistical modelling, and quantitative research methods to understand complex economic and business phenomena.
Alongside my academic career, I have developed a strong passion for financial markets, particularly gold (XAUUSD). What interests me most about trading is the interaction between price movements, market behaviour, uncertainty, and human psychology. I find candlestick charts particularly fascinating. The more we observe them, the more they begin to whisper their stories — where they came from and where they might be heading.
This interest gradually encouraged me to explore systematic and algorithmic trading. I became particularly interested in translating trading ideas into clearly defined rules that can be tested, evaluated, and implemented without relying entirely on discretionary decisions.
This led me to establish StoicWins, an initiative that brings together my interests in quantitative research, financial markets, and the philosophy of Stoicism. Through StoicWins, I aim to develop automated trading systems, explore trading strategies, and share insights from my ongoing learning and research.
One of these initiatives is StoicWins Aion Gold, a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed for XAUUSD trading. Aion brings together five trading strategies within a single automated trading system, incorporating shared risk and exposure management.
My approach to trading is deeply influenced by my passion for data science and quantitative analysis, which enables me to explore distinctive patterns and relationships in price movements and market behaviour that may not be immediately visible to the naked eye. I believe it is an art.

**StoicWins Aion Gold | Live Trading Performance Update**
Another week of live trading with our automated XAUUSD trading system, Aion Gold.
This week, our bot generated approximately **£57 in profit**, representing a **7.6% return** on our initial capital of £750.
Overall, this month, Aion Gold has generated approximately **£180 in profit, equivalent to 24% of our initial capital**.
These results are from a live trading account, not a backtest. As you can see from the trading history, there have been both profitable and losing trades.
Our focus remains on systematic trading, disciplined execution, and continuous learning.
