Development of Robust Adaptive EA for XAUUSD (Gold) with Advanced Optimization

Project Description:

I am looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to create a robust Expert Advisor (EA) for trading XAUUSD (Gold). The system must be designed with adaptability in mind, capable of responding effectively to changing market conditions.

Core Requirements:

1. Trading Instrument:
   • XAUUSD (Gold)
2. Strategy Characteristics:
   • The strategy should not be static; it must adapt to different market regimes (trend, range, volatility shifts).
   • Preference for systems that incorporate statistical, machine learning, or probabilistic approaches.
3. Optimization & Adaptability:
   • Implementation of advanced optimization techniques such as Bayesian Optimization or similar adaptive algorithms.
   • The EA should be capable of parameter self-adjustment or periodic re-optimization based on market behavior.
   • Avoid overfitting: strong emphasis on generalization and robustness.
4. Risk Management:
   • Dynamic position sizing
   • Stop Loss / Take Profit logic based on volatility (e.g., ATR or similar)
   • Drawdown control mechanisms
5. Backtesting & Validation:
   • High-quality backtesting using tick data
   • Walk-forward analysis is required
   • Monte Carlo simulation is a strong plus
6. Performance Expectations:
   • Stable equity curve
   • Controlled drawdowns
   • Consistent performance across different market conditions
7. Code Requirements:
   • Clean, well-documented MQL5 code
   • Modular structure for future improvements
   • Efficient execution (low latency, optimized performance)
8. Developer Requirements:
   • Proven experience in developing profitable EAs
   • Ability to provide verified results or portfolio of previous work
   • Strong understanding of algorithmic trading and market dynamics
   • Experience with adaptive or AI-based systems is highly preferred

Deliverables:

• Fully functional EA (.ex5 + source code)
• Documentation explaining logic and parameters
• Backtesting reports and validation results
