MT5 Expert Advisor – Daily Breakout + 1H Heikin Ashi Momentum Strategy

Project Description

I am looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to build a custom MT5 Expert Advisor (EA) based on a clear, rule-based breakout and momentum strategy using multiple timeframes.

This EA must be cleanly coded, well structured, fully adjustable via inputs, and delivered with source code (.mq5).

Strategy Logic

Timeframe 1 – Daily Chart (Trend / Breakout Filter)

• The EA must monitor the Daily timeframe

• A valid breakout occurs when a daily candle closes above resistance

• Resistance should be defined as:

  • Highest high of the previous X daily candles (X must be adjustable)

Only when this condition is met should the EA look for entries on the 1-hour chart.

Timeframe 2 – 1 Hour Chart (Entry Conditions)

• Use Heikin Ashi candles

• Entry must occur only when:

  • A bullish Heikin Ashi candle closes

  • The candle has no lower wick (or lower wick less than X points – adjustable)

  • The candle has a strong body, defined as:

    • Body size greater than the average body size of the last X candles (adjustable)

• Price must not be in consolidation

Consolidation Filter

Use one or more of the following (open to developer suggestion, but must be configurable):

• ATR filter (ATR above minimum threshold)

• Candle range relative to ATR

• Price not contained within a tight range of the last X candles

Trade Execution Rules

• Long trades only

• Only one trade per valid daily breakout

• No over-trading during consolidation

• Optional: trading session filter (London / NY – adjustable)

Risk & Trade Management

All parameters must be adjustable via inputs:

• Risk per trade (%)

• Stop Loss:

  • Fixed pips OR

  • ATR-based (preferred)

• Take Profit:

  • Fixed Risk-Reward ratio OR

  • Optional trailing stop

• Break-even option (optional but preferred)

EA Requirements

• MT5 compatible (MQL5)

• Multi-timeframe logic

• Adjustable parameters for all indicators and filters

• Must work in Strategy Tester

• Clean, readable code

• Source code (.mq5) must be provided

• No DLLs

• No locked or encrypted logic

Testing & Delivery

• Developer must provide:

  • Strategy Tester screenshots

  • Explanation of inputs

• EA must be tested on demo before live use

• Reasonable post-delivery support for bug fixes
