Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to build a custom Expert Advisor (EA) based on a clearly defined strategy.
EA Requirements:
- Monitor existing open orders (with or without a Magic Number)
- When an order is in profit and has moved a specified number of pips (DistancePip), open a new order in the same direction
- Limit the total number of orders per direction (BUY/SELL)
- When the number of orders reaches a defined minimum, set the stop loss at breakeven (average entry price)
- Support both visible SL (sent to broker) and hidden SL (managed internally by EA)
- Note: EA does not open the first order – it only reacts to existing trades
Tech Stack:
- Language: MQL5
- Platform: MetaTrader 5
Preferred Skills:
- Familiar with managing existing trades and Magic Numbers
- Can implement hidden stop loss logic
- Able to test/debug efficiently
- Willing to support small edits post-delivery
