Hi,

I need a price change velocity measuring indicator / oscilatior.

It should measure like 10 last bars to set a norm and then when the price goes over the norm it should measure by how much (2x, 5x, 10x...)

Based on that I could set the levels for each particular symbol that would triger some changes in the levels of the sell and buy orders for the EA I have.


It could be similar to ATR, but it should measure the Average Velocity / volatility in prices for e.g. last 10 candles and compare the new candle to them based on each tick or the speed of rising delta between them.

The Number of the candles and the timeframe should be parameters that would be able to be set.


It could be also similar to the ROC indicator,

but calculated "on the go" in real time and not after the last candle closes.


It should be written in this way, that it can be added to an existing MT5 EA for the measurment of the market volatility - to widen or narrow the spread for buy / sell orders in response to sudden market condition changes (e.g. big economic announcements / economic figures releases).
