Specifiche

1. Overview:

  • Create an MT4 indicator to display trading times for multiple setups concurrently.
  • Each setup can have multiple trading times. For example, a setup can have 2 - 3 EST, 6 - 7.30 EST and 14.00 - 15.40 EST as its trading times. And I can have 15 of such setups.
  • The indicator should display at the bottom of the chart and have a column to the extreme right for name of setup and then color marked zones for the particular setup repeated for all user specified setups. 
  • The time zones for each of the setups as well as the setup names will be in rows.
  • The indicator should show times correctly converted from either EST or CST to the broker's time zone based on the user's specified GMT offset.

2. Features:

2.1 Trading Time Setups:

  • Define trading times for multiple setups, each with a specified start and end hour.
  • Allow user customization for each setup's name.
  • Allow user customization for each setup's trading times.

2.2 Display:

  • Display the indicator in a subwindow at the bottom of the chart.
  • Use horizontal lines to represent the trading times for each setup.
  • Each line should have a label indicating the setup name.

2.3 Broker Configuration:

  • Allow the user to set the broker's GMT offset in the indicator's settings.

3. Inputs/Settings:

  • GMT Offset: Allow the user to input the broker's GMT offset.
  • Setup Times: Allow the user to input the trading times for each setup.

4. User Interface:

  • Provide a user-friendly interface in the indicator's settings for input customization.
  • Clearly label input fields for GMT offset and setup times.

5. Code Considerations:

  • Ensure clean and well-commented code for easy maintenance.
  • Include error handling to notify users of any input errors.

6. Testing:

  • Thoroughly test the indicator to ensure functionality.
  • Verify that the indicator accurately displays trading times based on the user's inputs.

7. Documentation:

  • Provide documentation explaining how to install and use the indicator.
  • Include a brief explanation of how the indicator calculates and displays trading times.

8. Deliverables:

  • Provide the compiled indicator file (.ex4) for easy installation.
  • Include the source code (.mq4) for future modifications.
