It will struggle to be reliable in a ranging market so it's always best to be combined with something - maybe trend lines. Wins will always be about luck if only zigzag is used. It needs quantitative trend reassurance or something else

In the standard MACD for MQL5, the histogram is calculated differently compared to Pine Script.
Therefore, I created my own MACD version, closely following the Pine Script logic.
Changes made:
Removed unnecessary drawings, leaving only the colored histogram.
Added the option to choose the smoothing type for Fast and Slow (EMA or SMA).
Implemented histogram calculation as Macd - Signal.
Set up dynamic coloring of the histogram based on direction changes.
