From 1 above if we assume that EUR is up then it follows that USD is at the same strength which defies the fact the USDJPY is also up, so th eonly logical explanation from 1 and 2 above is that EUR is strong and JPY is weak, since USD can be up and down at the same time, thus EURJPY must be a double up, very nice correlation.
