Built my own gold grid EA over the past months, EdgeSyncFXGrid. XAUUSD only, fully automated on MT5.
What I focused on: risk management. Hard depth cap on the grid, balance-based scaling, three risk profiles. Most gold grids blow up because they stack forever, mine stops and waits.
Backtested over 18 months, and I track it live now, drawdowns included, not just the green days. No HFT, so it runs on most brokers without restrictions.
