I design, develop and audit automated trading systems intended for real-world operation, not only Strategy Tester results.
Main areas of work:
• trading systems for MetaTrader 5 / MQL5, Interactive Brokers / Python, broker APIs and crypto exchanges
• audit and debugging of existing trading robots
• order lifecycle, partial fills, rejected orders and execution errors
• reconnect, restart and state recovery
• position reconciliation and protection against duplicate operations
• risk controls, logging and monitoring
• investigation of backtest vs. live-trading discrepancies
• formalization and implementation of trading algorithms
I work both with existing systems that require technical diagnosis and improvement and with new strategies that need to be converted into clear and testable trading logic.
My main focus is production readiness. A trading system should behave correctly not only under ideal conditions, but also during connection failures, terminal restarts, delayed data and other real-world scenarios.
