How a trade happens in Smart Zone Trader – in three steps:
You draw a zone (click and drag, or keyboard shortcuts). Direction: any, demand or supply.
Price enters the zone and the zone is armed. Setup A: a bar closes beyond the last swing (market structure break), price retests the level, market entry. Setup B: price leaves the zone, either a market entry after the next structure break or a limit order at the zone edge waiting for the retest.
The EA manages the position: stop beyond the zone or the last swing, take profit at your R multiple, breakeven at X R, swing trailing, cooldown, max trades per zone, daily halt.
Every switch and parameter can be changed in the CFG panel while the EA runs – no restart.

To ensure that the backtest runs without errors, the following must be set in the settings:
Limit Time Range: Timerange = True
must be selected.
The time must be set so that the EA does not trade during the rollover of your broker.
Exit at End of Range is not relevant and can be set to either true or false!
