Publish EA in market, that works with external indicator - how?

Hi,

I want to publish an EA in the market, that works with an external indicator.

But the validation cannot be completed, as the system cannot backtest my EA.

This is the info:

test on EURUSD,H1 tester takes too long time 2016.04.01 00:00:00 cannot open file 'MQL4\indicators\Market\**Indicator.ex4**' [3]

Can someone help me out?

Thanks.

**Changed name of indi, as it is prohibited to call it here**

You have to add the indicator as a resource.

Marco vd Heijden:
You have to add the indicator as a resource.

Please, what do you exactly mean?

(you mean ResourceCreate function? ... which I don't believe.)

The indicator itself is form the marketplace.

Well that is not possible.

You can not add market products as a resource.

There are already two Expert Advisors in the marketplace, that solely  depend on 2 indicators from the marketpalce.

(You may know what indicators I talk about, the most famous and hyped).

So, can you answer me how that seller got his EAs there?!

I guess that product only works if the user has also purchased the indicator.

Sure.

Same goes for my product; you have to purchase the indicator before.

But I cannot get my EA threw the validation process, as the system tries to backtest it, which is not possible [it must have the indicator in the folder 'market' in mt4].

So, how do I proceed from now?!

- That seller is also able to sell his EA there / How did he got it threw the validation process?!

He got it there because he knows what he is doing.

In this case you can not just assume that this indicator exists on all target systems.

I think it is a limitation in a market product that is not allowed but i am not totally sure.

Sorry,

but what you are saying either makes no sense, or it is just speculative.

"limitation in A market product that is not allowed" (?)

I "can not assume that this indicator exists on all target systems." - What does that mean, that that seller just had luck (2x times), but me not?

I don't understand this...

It means you have to check if it exists.

In stead of blatantly assuming it exists and trying to call it.

And a limitation in the sense that the product can not be used as a stand alone and requires the purchase of another product.

I'm not sure so i am currently trying to find out.

Ok, understood.

Thanks for your help anyway,

If you find out something, I would appreciate it if you could tell it here.
