it doesn't always work like this.... I have a couple of Expert Advisors, which make a deal as soon as you put them on the chart (almost immediately), while in the tester you can only set the time per day. So, in order to carry out this experiment, I need to run them exactly at 00.00 server time.... with my GMT+6, too lazy somehow :)..... or in the code of the first run time to prescribe....
I use a little different way: I change the start time during testing - if the characteristics do not change, it means I am somewhere close to the right one
Right
this expert depends on the starting point!
Of course, when running in the tester of some area, you need to consider the start time !

It's easier to skip bars to the right time when testing if you want full compliance.

In similar EAs - ( when testing ) I simply programmed the point at which the EA was to start the test!

Yes, that's exactly what we're talking about. It's easier than waiting for the right time, sitting in front of the monitor.

Absolutely, except that this is not the most pressing issue. The tester in MT4 is good enough to be trusted. All errors must be caught during visualization testing. When I see that an Expert Advisor is doing something wrong, I look into the code first of all and when there are no errors I never see fatal discrepancies with the real code. There's no such thing as an error-free code ))...
Granit77, and apparently he's not the only one, has a much steeper problem - it's a method, or methodology of selecting parameters that don't fail in the future...... who knows what, in a word.... Apologies for the off-topic.
