Hi Newdigital

The image posted for the All Averages is completely different to the stepped Trend Envelope style indicator in Mr Tool's post. Arte we talking about the same indicator?

Cheers

Also used the timeframe option in the external parameters of ALL Trend Envel. used 1440(daily) setting on H4 Chart.Igorad all ready had this option in All Avgs. made it an easy cut and paste job.

Hi Newdigital

Looks like it's still not working right yet...I loaded the All Averages indicator as you suggested, and the AllBands appeared, but the All Trend Envelopes is still invisible. Are there some changes to make to the default setup inputs when you load it? Also, is it multi-timeframe? I am trying to load it onto an M15 chart...

Cheers

Designmax

It is multitimeframe.

It's working:

Yes, it's working now

Hi Newdigital

Yes, it's coming up on the chart now, but does look different from your screenshot. My All Trend Envelopes is not stepped, like your is. It is showing as a smooth curve...odd.

But it is showing on the chart now, s that is good.

Many thanks

I would like to know the meaning of Starthour of the Pivots_Daily indy.

If the MT4 time is UTC+1, and if the open time is supoosed to be 17:00 in New York, is Starthour is -6 ? because of the time difference bewtween New York and UTC+1 is 6 hours ?

Also I would like to know the meaning of DaysToPlot for Pivots_Daily.

The other question is what Pivots_Daily_Median is.

The othe q is : Is MACDD_Divergence required for these two indies ?

pjo

Please respond to this post !

Hi,

First: It should be +6 because Daily pivots are based on past day data. So, if NY open 6 hours after London we calculate the Pivots using last day NY data or whatever.

Second: I assume you have an old version because last one says HistoryDays and that's mean how many days you want draw on chart

Third: Median are secondary pivots calculated according to:

(3*PreviousLow-2*PreviousHigh+PreviousClose)/2;

(2*PreviousLow-PreviousHigh+PreviousClose)/2;

(PreviousLow+PreviousClose)/2;

(PreviousHigh+PreviousClose)/2;

(2*PreviousHigh-PreviousLow+PreviousClose)/2;

(3*PreviousHigh-2*PreviousLow+PreviousClose)/2;

Peter Bain popularized Median pivots on How To Trade Forex like A Pro.

Forth: Absolutely no
