adding url for webrequest ?

hi,

using MT4 b745 on wine 1.7.32 i386 ubuntu

 

for using an expert i need to add an url into /tools/options/Expert advisor/

there is already the builtin 'http://www.mql5.com' listed

when i right-click on '+' nothing happen for adding a new url, so i double click on the previous url's field: the address is blanked and then i type

'http://www.forexfactory.com/ffcal_week_this.xml' and hit 'enter' to register. But that entry is ignored and i only get back the builtin url again.

 

What is wrong ? Are you able to add a new url to that list on your system ?

Of course it works. Your issue is probably related to Wine, you can report this to ServiceDesk and to Wine project.

I have the same problem when I add the url it just disappears ...im trying to link it with myfxbook and it won't take any kind of url

There are a lot of ffcal indicators and EA's out there. I worked on the original with the creator back in 2008. The wininet.dll will be included with WINE. Have you tried one of the existing codes?

For me the problem was that I was wrapping the link in quotes, that is the reason why it was ignored. Try Writing the link without Quotes!
