The characters of currency pairs

I've seen people say some pairs are 'volatile' and some pairs are 'rangy' etc. And this is why some pairs are good with some EAs, and some not so good.

I would love to hear what people think about each pair.

Dear friends:

is there some method to decide where the market is ranging or trending.

i think it is very important.

my system can win in the ranging market, but i lose my profit in a trending market

i am so confused about it?
