Flexible Time Charts for MT4

This gives you 96 time frames including tick.

You can chart on the bid, the ask or both and there are a host of other options.

Since someone threatened to make something similar to this and sell it as a commercial product. Here is a free one that I made.

You must have stderror.mqh, WinUser32.mqh and stdlib.mqh in your include directory. These should be there anyway.

Enable experts on your menu bar and read the documentation.

Put on a chart then it will tell you which offline chart to open.

There is almost no code snippets from LastViking's Renko ea now but it gave me a start so many kudos to him. Let me know of any bugs. You have to keep the chart with the ea on it open. As with all ea if you switch to another profile they halt.

Version number shown on screen.

This is version 2.0

If you cannot get it to work then post a message outlining any messages in the experts tab and which broker you are using and I WILL fix It for you.

Enjoy

it doesn't talk to me...did everything as you said...nothing happened...

Don't you hate that! Okay I was missing something see first post.

Filename Errors

Since I have no idea what the reserved or excluded names are for MT4 hst files. It is trial by ordeal. I am not going to test all 90 odd timeframes. So if you have the message to open a file that does not exist then just let me know and I will fix it.

Cheers

Your welcome.

I am not going to waffle on about my great trading techniques. However put a 2 second, 1 min, 5, 15, 1 hour, perhaps a 4 and a daily. Now if you can't catch some nice tight entries then you need to practice some more. I will add the range bars later this week. But that is the end of the free bar types I am afraid.

from the sublime to the ...

2 pip range bar but unlike the "thing" that the person who charges 70 Euros or whatever, this one has gaps like it is supposed to. The significant value is the open by the way. Trust me on that one.

This will be coming up in the future if this thread generates any interest.
