Golden Catcher S

Important update, now EA supports two modes with the best built-in parameters optional,
Note: using both modes at the same time requires setting different EA IDs,
Mode 1 has shorter holding time, Mode 2 has longer holding time


Golden Catcher S is an EA for gold trading, it is a short-term trading method developed based on the volatility characteristics of gold varieties. When the price accelerates, it usually means that larger price movements are coming, the EA captures this opportunity and enters the trade.



Describe：

  • This EA is one of my three gold trading strategies, with a trading frequency of approximately 1-2 orders per trading day, each order has a stop loss set.
  • It is not a variant of any grid or martingale strategy..

 Regarding the best parameters, EA has two built-in modes (two sets of parameters), but this does not mean they are the best. You can completely use custom modes to optimize the parameters that suit you



Notes:

  1. EA requires a gold spread of less than 20 points, trading delay is not strict, but a good trading environment will always reduce your trading costs.
  2. If you do not have a suitable broker and account type to choose from, you can use a broker and account type that matches my signal. IC Markets Standard Account.
  3. Minimum deposit requirement $100, recommended every $500 -> 0.03 lots

Parameter description:

  • order size: order opening size
  • Automatic order size: amount for automatic calculation of order size, use 0 for order size = order size otherwise order size = balance/ Automatic order size* order size
  • EA id: Magic to differentiate between different EAs
  • Mode selection: choose Mode 1, Mode 2, or custom parameters
  • Order comments: order comments
  • Start trading time['hh:mm']: time to start trading, format as "hh:mm"
  • End transaction time['hh:mm']: time to stop trading, format as "hh:mm"
  • sensitivity: sensitivity coefficient for establishing opening judgment, the larger the value, the fewer the opening opportunities
  • Maximum stop loss points: maximum stop loss points per order
  • Calculate the number of bars for sensitivity calculation: number of bars for backtesting opening judgment
  • Tracking area size: size of the tracking stop loss area
  • Minimum tracking profit points: minimum tracking order profit points
  • Track stop loss step size: order tracking stop loss step size

This EA seems to be an excellent scalper for gold. Which is very hard to find. I will update the review after 1 month, but for now, I am happy with the purchase.

This EA seems to be an excellent scalper for gold. Which is very hard to find. I will update the review after 1 month, but for now, I am happy with the purchase.
