Look at the prediction error graph, to get a smooth line you need to run a bunch of tests and make a decision based on them. Can't explain here. Brukow. How to predict the dollar exchange rate.

In the grids the weights of the inputs in some packages can be seen... + ns ... what is retranslated without problem ... what can and will discard inputs not needed in a given sample, etc... - no formula...

Regression is easier... find what you asked for, take the formula and use it...

I'm not sure about the coefficient estimate shedding light on the fit...a lot depends on the model...

As for prescott-based assessment, I've already said my opinion... the prescott's presence, not the method of assessment, is wrong... in my opinion, of course...

Now I decided to do this: I run the EA on H4, every hour or more often, I optimize the hindsight and update it in the EA and it decides whether to stay in the market or leave it. It gives very good results, but we need to automate the process. In this way I hope to follow the market volatility, reacting in time and adequately to possible changes in its nature.

I have a regression model, but have never thought to estimate it so as not to introduce another obscure variable, I'm content with what it produces, whether it fits or not. There is too much negativity in the word fitting, although there is nothing wrong with it, the trader's brain itself does exactly that, if you take it that way.
