How to build a trading robot? New to the forum
Hello, I am new to the area, and I have great interest in assembling a robot to make trades. I already have consolidated strategy for trades (basically through the use of moving average, OBTR, MACD, and Candles), and I have invested in stocks, and got reasonable returns. The investments require a long time to make successful trades, and thus found myself in a difficult situation because as I am between my studies and my investiments. As I consider both important, the best solution I found was the following, produce a robot to invest while I'm studying. I would like to know how to program, what is needed. (I have experience with C ++, PHP, and HTML5 but nothing that makes me an expert). My questions are the following. How do I mount a robot in MetaTrade? Would be through the Scripts? What programs need? How much time would be devoted to mount a successful robot?

These articles were very useful for me to understand the principles of the mql4/5 language. When you understand the basis of the programming language, you can try to develop your own custom indicator or EA to practice.
It took me 2 years to learn MQL4/5 to build a reliable robot but I didn't have any programming experience so I'm a real programming noob.

Thanks guys, I am Brazilian, and a college student hehehe, looking to make some money, as I have a large sum just stationary which I want to increase. I hope it takes me less time to build (in 2 years. ). I will read these articles as soon as I can, as I don´t really have time (main reason why I want to build a robot).
