Anyone heard this ?
I heard this same press news last year. 
Just in recent months MQ decided to permanently discontinue Client API. I have been confirmed several times by their managers.
"We stand our position", "client api will not be realised", "there will be no client api", "we know what we are doing."
Somebody at that group contacted me last two weeks and asked if I could help them doing Amibroker and MT4 integration, and I told him it would not be possible if there is no Client API for MT4. So maybe he's the one who speak at that group.
If only what you said were real...

I'm also involved in an Amibroker to interface to Metatrader project. Someone in that group had this to say in an email today :-
'As for MT4, the pres of the company has said that there will be an API "in a few months." Until an API is available there will be no way to build a plug-in for MT4.'
Now I have no other source of this info just yet but doesn't just reading that turn you on ?
