Saving and Loading EAs

I have an EA , mt4 and MQL VPS.

I have saved and loaded two slightly different set files for the EA.

I noticed BOTH sets were trading. I deleted one of the sets from the mt4.

Then noticed BOTH sets were still trading.  (So I am assuming that the deleted set is still running in the MQL VPS ..?????)

How do I delete the second set and stop it from trading ??

 

You can migrate open chart(s) with EA(s) attached.
It means:

  • open the chart,
  • attach EA with your desirable settings,
  • migrate it.

If somehting was changed (in the settings) so you can mkigtate once again.

You go to VPS journal (not Metatrader journal; I am talking about VPS journal) to check about which files were migrated to VPS.
As far as I understand the rules: you/we can migrate open chart with EA attached onto them.
If we want for custom indicators to migrate (indicators which is working with the attached EAs) so those indicators should be attached to the same chart with the EAs.

set file = settings of the EA.
if you want to change the settings of the EAs so - attach your EA with your desirable new settingas to your chart in your home computer, and provide migration once again.
