Setting the risk of advisors "Oberon" and "Constructor"

I want to share my opinion and recommendations with those traders who decide to use one Expert Advisor with different input parameters or several from the list of the following Expert Advisors on one account:

  1. Oberon Bars
  2. Oberon iSAR
  3. Oberon iMA
  4. Constructor
  5. Constructor Simple
  6. Fobos iSAR

    They are united by one important parameter - "BalanceForAdd". Together with the deposit, they determine the risk of the strategy. Let me remind you that "BalanceForAdd" determines what volume (lot) the first deal will have when entering the market.

    Lot=(Balance/BalanceForAdd)/100

    For example: with Balance=10000, BalanceForAdd=1000 - Lot=0.1.

    Using several advisers on one account is rational if the goal is not to increase profits, but the goal is to reduce the load on the deposit and reduce drawdown.

    For example: if you put 5 Expert Advisors on one account without changing "BalanceForAdd", then if the time coincides, even 2-3 drawdowns from different Expert Advisors can lead to the loss of the deposit. But if "BalanceForAdd" in each Expert Advisor is multiplied by the number of Expert Advisors, then the volume of deals will decrease by 5 times (in this case). The profit will remain on average as from one Expert Advisor (with the initial "BalanceForAdd"), but to reach the maximum drawdown of the Expert Advisor (with the initial "BalanceForAdd"), the drawdowns of all 5 Expert Advisors must coincide in time. And the probability of this is much lower than 100%. This greatly increases the chances of avoiding critical drawdowns.

    I do not urge you to buy several Expert Advisors. If you have at least one, then with the help of optimization (link to an example of optimization in the description of the adviser) you can independently make several variants of input data for one adviser. The main thing is that the signals to enter the position are different.
    The safest option is (in my opinion) to use different strategies with AutoLot=False and MinLot=0.01.
    Bottom line (my subjective opinion): the combined use of several advisers will reduce the load on the deposit and reduce the average and maximum drawdown in general. The same Expert Advisor with different settings will have different drawdown times.
    Remember to be sure to set different magic numbers, taking into account their ranges (to avoid confusion, put 100, 200, 300, and so on).
