Trading GBPUSD. Trading account base currency?
Simple question,
For an EA trading GBPUSD, is there any advantage to having the trading account held in USD over GBP (or vice versa)?
I dont imagine there is but open to.learning.

Not really, as the conversion/exchange is carried out during trading.
The only importance would be when you make a deposit or withdrawal to/from the trading account, and you have to factor in the exchange rate at the time from your own bank account currency.
