XAUUSD historical tick data
DaanKouwen_SF: Where do you get your XAUUSD historical tick data? I am looking for data from 2000 to current date. I need this to train my models.
For MT5?
Get it straight from your broker with MetaTrader. The Strategy Tester will take care of it for you automatically if you choose to test with real tick data.
For MT4?
The most commonly used data for MT4 back-testing is the tick history data provided by Dukascopy. There are at least two 3rd party tools that automate the procedure for downloading the data and producing the FXT and HST files for MT4, namely TickStory and Birt's Tick Data Suite.
