Metaeditor Crashing

I still have not figured out why metaeditor keeps crashing. I do nothing other than try to compile a file and it tells me that I can not save it is write protected. So I have to rename it and then I can compile it. Sometimes all I have to do is hit the space key and I have to get it unlocked by

I have been away from the market for about a year. I found this indicator and liked it. My system kept locking up and freezing and the problem was this indicator. I put in and ran a compile on it and it had 16 warnings. So I fixed the warnings. I changed the alerts to false for personal preference

Compiling EA: Why it becomes write protected?

I have only been coding EA's for about 5 years now. I have never experienced this problem until I just got the new build on metatrader. It stops letting me compile my EA after I am close to finishing it. It tells me that it is write protected. I try to use the one of two options and overwrite it but

New Metatrader4 platform

I have been trying to use metatrader now for about 3 weeks. I used it successfully for over 7 years. I took a one year break and there are problems with using the new platform that I just have not been able to figure out. Problem one is coding. I try to encode an EA and I compile it and it works
