I prefer to use only EURUSD.
I think R747 Breakout is a reliable and profitable EA.
However, We must understand that this is a Breakout EA with many customizable inputs.
Price breakouts may go in profit to 50 Pips in 5 minutes or they can activate the pending order and go to the opposite direction. It all depends on market.
Breakout EAs are sensitive to Spread, Comissions, Slippage and Price Action.
Having in mind all this, It may be possible to make this EA profitable.
I have I few weeks using this EA so, I may not be the best person to have an opinion about it.
However, The results that I have seen are as I expected.
I changed the strategy that I am using for this EA because Win Rate was around 80%.
Now I prefer to have low profits (just enough to cover Brokers Comission and have a little profit) and a win rate of 90%.
In a long term, Low risk and High Risk strategies seem to be profitable.
I recommend to use only EURUSD 30m, initial investment 100 USD, with the original 1H High Risk Set File in this blog just modifying:
Breakeven 60 -> 30
Lockinpips 50 -> 20
I will keep this strategy for 6 to 12 months.
If results match Backtesting, then this EA will be very profitable.
I just need to know what are going to be the effects of slippage in this EA because slippage can not be simulated in Metatrader 4 Strategy Tester.
Did corrections in Backtest to included more realistic Spread and Broker´s Commision
