Sorry Antonio for leaving a negative review, especially as Antonio is very nice. This bot - as is - basically loses money. Please see screenshot of performance in an actual real money account with IC Markets, Expert Take Profit (ETP) running EURUSD 1H only; leverage 1:200 with the setfile for IC Markets provided by Antonio. (sorry it seems I cannot submit a screenshot?) What happens is that during news events, when there are wild swings, for example today wild swings during release of the US Inflation data/CPI and then the bot hitting all the stop losses and losing 33% of the balance. This happens quite regularly during news events - in the screenshot for example on 6 January 2023, 3rd February and again today, on each occasion the bot lost 32%, 40% and 33% respectively. Impossible to make profit, maybe the bot should be called Expert LOSE Profit, because it makes a bit of profit but then "expertly" (haha), persistently, regularly and predictably loses all the profit made and more!!

So what happened in the screenshot was that after 3rd February I made sure that autotrading was disabled before/after release of major economic news events, you can see that between 4th February and yesterday (13 March) it would have made approx 80% (or 60 % per month) which is obviously fantastic, esp as drawdown was only 23%. (unfortunately today I was distracted, didn't realise time change in the US, did not disable autotrade and boom... down 33%!! and all the profit of many weeks gone...)

However in "real life" without newsfilter this bot lost approx 1/3 of the balance over 3 months. So I think ETP has potential to be a 4 or 5 Star EA, IF THERE WERE A NEWS FILTER. I am writing this in bold as I have recommended this to Antonio on multiple occasions, (with repeated info on how ETP lost money during news events) but it seems that even with the new release of ETP this has not be incorporated. For example today, had trading been disabled perhaps 30 mins before until 30min after release of significant economic news mentioned above most of the open trades would have been closed with overall profit.

As you can see on Antonio's page - there is NO FORWARD TEST results of ETP (unlike many other EAs here on MQL5) which for me means that - ultimately - this bot is not making money as is :(

(I had suggested to Antonio a forward test on many occasions... but that has not happened...one wonders why??)

Antonio has responded asking me "... what part of "high risk" you don't understand." - well, Antonio, I would respectfully suggest that there is a difference between taking high risks and taking UNNECESSARY high risks, which ETP is doing by running without newsfilter. Many EAs have a newsfilter, exactly for that reason, because during release of news events there are wild swings that easily take out stop losses for example. So, I am eagerly awaiting the next version of ETP WITH Newsfilter ;)

Update 21 March. Well it seems ETP doesn't need news events in order to lose money. With the rise in EURUSD (even before today's events) ETP opened several short trades against the trend until the stoploss set in and another 1/3 of the balance were lost. So, in total I am now down by approx 2/3 now, so will stop using Expert lose profit before it loses all the balance.

This EA is a good working and profitable one. I could gain 50% in 2 days on EURUSD only. I win usualy 8% per Day. Don’t load anything more on your Margins. This EA will make the money alone. This EA does use high risk Grid. Thank you.

I am most disappointed at the performance of this EA I did not see normal that TP=SL,I communicated with the author because I am new to this and I had a dry answer I explained that I an new to EAs but no answer somehow I put it in action and the fist day 5% very good for me but it stoped suddenly because it reached the TP limit, not very smart but I am no one to say anything,second day another 5% and stoped again started the third day with 10% up ant the dawn it decided not to workout at midi started to work and I left my 2 days 10% EA working alone when I came back the EA was 45% downwind I remembered that the smart A had TP=SL and I do not understand it untilI realized hat I bought a sharp knife with a auto TP and an infinite SL,I am very sorry at my self because I know nothing but been blackout for something that big, worst Thant that I confess that I bought a second EA from the same source, against the good advice of the bird in my shoulder, not very happy ,the good thing was that I laughed aloud to my self all evening

Hello Mr. Aguerrevere, hope you're doing well. It seems very odd and tricky to me your comment for the following reasons: 1. The only way that the Stop Loss would be equal to the Take Profit is for both of them to be equal to Cero. If they aren't equal to Cero, it is impossible for them to be equal. It's something impossible to do doing manual trading as well as algorithm trading. Simply, the platform doesn't allow it. 2. When you wrote me privately, I replied 51 minutes after (keep in mind the time difference between countries). You can verify on the chat registry and my answer was explain full enough, respectful and with some advise I usually give. I send a total of 8 messages and received 4 by you. 3. Going though the chat, I don't see anywhere asking me something regarding the Stop Loss or Take Profit. 4. I believe you wrongfully configured the EA, maybe not following all the steps on the guide. 5. The EA doesn't stop when reaching the Take Profit, it only closes the position or positions but it keeps functioning, you need to patiently wait until the EA finds the best point to enter the market. The EA works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I also told you that privately. I would encourage you to go though the chat registry of our conversation, maybe you'll understand that what you say in the comment above is not true. Cheers and best of luck.
