혼자서 결심을 굳힌 저는 구글과 YouTube를 주요 정보원으로 삼아 외환 트레이딩 세계에 뛰어들었습니다. 제 여정은 재미있으면서도 격동적이었고, 성공의 시기와 탐욕으로 인한 갑작스러운 후회스러운 손실로 점철되어 있었습니다.

I just learned that I can make my signal private and still receive analysis of my trading position. From now on, I will set my signal to private to prevent anyone from subscribing. I am still learning, and my trades are very risky since I haven't developed a trading system that I can consistently follow and that works for me. Today marks the exciting beginning of my journey into the world of trading! I've taken the bold step of opening a real trading account with a modest deposit, opting for a Cent Account from FBS. This decision is driven by my passion for learning and growing in the trading arena.
In my eagerness to enhance my skills, I've also set up a signal to track and compare my performance in both the real and demo accounts. I believe this hands-on experience will be invaluable on my path to becoming a proficient trader.
I want to be transparent about where I stand in my trading expertise. Currently, I wouldn't recommend anyone subscribing to my signals just yet—I'm still honing my skills and learning the ropes. But, with dedication and a hunger for knowledge, I aim to evolve into a skilled trader in the near future.
Balancing trading with my job adds a layer of challenge, but I'm committed to seizing opportunities whenever time permits. I'll be strategically managing my positions, keeping a close eye on profits and losses. While I may not have subscribed to any VPS (Virtual Private Server) yet to run my own EA which is Position Closer 24/7, rest assured, I'll be implementing Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) for every open position.

This was a nail-biting and very long trade! (26 hrs+ before it was closed) I was so tempted to stop my EA, which is 'Position Closer,' and resist cutting my losses because I held firm to my analysis. My Fibonacci retracement levels indicated that gold would likely fall to around 1950 or even 1948, and this was confirmed by my other indicators. Furthermore, my position in Gold and the price movement still make sense to me unless the price bounces back to the 61.8 Fibonacci level. At that point, it's time for me to cut the losses, even if they are already quite huge loss.
Although I managed to profit from this trade, I would still rate it a 3 out of 5. This is because I was on the verge of losing over $600+ from yesterday, which accounted for more than 6% of my total balance, pushing my maximum drawdown (max DD) to 6.19%, exceeding my risk management threshold.
One of the key lessons I learned from this trade was the importance of proper lot sizing. I believe that 0.50 lots were a bit too aggressive for XAUUSD, considering my risk tolerance and trading strategy.
How about you? Have you ever deviated from your risk management plan because your indicators suggested you were correct and there were only minor price corrections?
Also, how do you determine your lot size for a currency pair? (Sorry for the beginner question.)

Celebrating a small win today! 🎉
I was able to recoup my balance from my Demo Trading Account and make a profitable trade on Gold. It took almost 4 hours for the trade to close, but thanks to position closer, I didn't need to stay glued to the screen and could still work. Once the trade reached my target profit, my XAUUSD position was automatically closed.
