If you read some of Einstein 'papers , he contends the universe is round and light actually bends. According to his allegory if you stand on the same place for a very long time you will see an image of yourself. So it is with currencies whenever you are short or long , you always own some thing of value eg euros or dollars. Short euro = owning dollars etc.
If you short a stock you own nothing , it is a dangerous place to be.
That is why I prefer currencies and whether I am long or short ,usually I will find value. It is only a matter of time. I don t use stops for that reason, but I also keep very large margins and understand the leverage concept well.
You see the trouble with stops is that brokers use software to determine where you have them ,even if they are not visible. Much like we use anti virus. So I don t play their game...they will get your stops. that is why most bots fail in the end.

This is the Euro chart today. You can be right on the direction , but your broker will chase your stops . 90 % of losses are from stops , and isn t it funny that when you are stopped out , the market suddenly goes your way The blackBox EA uses ATR stops...

Cant resist putting this chart up . A Bearish Black Swan ( projected).That usually spells trouble. Ideally we need a spike to 1.444...and a Bearish AB=CD on Euro. We have been getting these spikes up in the Euro over Easter ...my guess is intervention over thin holiday trading, but hey they were good trades. In the long hall I m still having trouble believing Banks, Large Hedge Funds etc want to hold Euro when Euro rates are negative and you can get interest by holding dollars...something has to give one day

This template is near perferction. I will not sell it but I will help my friends ( I know who they are.... set it up) the results are outstanding...and Ive managed to automate it .
