Specification
I need two new features to an existing EA as detailed below.
EA operates and needs to continue to operate on Meta Trader 4
NEW FEATURE 1.
The EA currently has ‘lot
Sequence’ feature, with user defined Lot
increments separated by a comma for example
0.05,0.07,0.10,0.14,0.15,0.16
Each time the SL is hit, the next trade is entered at the next Lot value in the sequence and continues to move along the sequence until the TP is hit in a trade, the EA then starts at the beginning of the Lot sequence again. Similarly if the EA trades along the Lot sequence to the end i.e. the last Lot value in the sequence and the SL is hit again, the EA starts over from the beginning of the Lot sequence with its next trade.
Rather than automatic start again at beginning of Lot sequence following TP being hit. I would like to introduce additional Lot sequence settings, providing options for action following TP being hit at each value in the sequence.
New Requirement
1) When TP is hit at any value in the Lot sequence; the user pre-determines how
many consecutive hits of TP at that value should be achieved before reverting
to start of sequence, instead of the current standard being ‘once’.
2) If SL is hit at any point during this process, the EA moves up the Lot sequence as before, where again, the user defined number of TP’s should be hit before the EA moves back to the start of the Lot sequence again.
3) Once the pre-determined number of TP’s has been achieved at a lot value, the Lot sequence starts at the beginning again.
4) If the EA moves along the Lot sequence failing to achieve the user defined number of TP’s at any Lot value in the sequence, following failure to achieve the desired number of TP’s at the final Lot value, it begins at the beginning of the sequence with its next trade.
Example
Lot sequence: 0.5,1.0,1.5,1.6,1.7
Lot Sequence - 0.5(SL hit), 1.0(SL hit = go to next value (1.5).TP hit = new trades to continue at this Lot value for X times before reverting to beginning of Lot sequence),1.5 (SL hit = go to next value (1.5).TP hit = new trades to continue at this value for X times before reverting to beginning of Lot sequence),1.6 (SL hit = go to next value (1.5).TP hit = new trades to continue at this value for X times before reverting to beginning of Lot sequence), and so on.
I would imagine each Lot value would need its own field with a drop down list of numbers to set nuber of TP’s for each Lot value. If this is the case, could I please have 20 such fields and drop down options 1-20 for each lot value field.
NEW FEATURE 2.
I would like to add registration / activation security.
In order for EA to function user requires activation code which I generate and supply.
I would like to be able to create activation codes for any number of days of my choice or indefinite /permanent.
Example:
I choose to provide a 7 day code. User enters code and EA functions. After 7
days EA stops functioning until further activation code is entered.
Or say 30 days, 60 days, 90 days etc, or code for permanent activation.
